Ingredients: Ingredients for Garam Masala:
Mutton - 1/2kg Green Caramoms - 5
Minced Mutton - 250 grams Cloves - 15
Ghee - 4 Tbspn Cinnamom - 1"
Bay Leaves - 2 Black Peppercorns - 15
Garlic Crushed - 12 Pods Nutmeg - 1 small piece
Ginger Crushed - 1" GRIND ABOVE ALL INGREDIENTS
Yoghurt - 250 grams TO FINE POWDER
Onion Finely Chopped - 5 Medium size
Tomatoes Finely Chopped - 4 Medium size
Coriander Powder - 2 Tsp
Salt to taste
Coriander Leaves Finely Chopped - 1/2 Cup
Method:
1) Take ghee in a thick pan on high flame and as ghee is melted add bay leaves & Mutton and cook on high flame only for 10 minutes and keep stirring.
2) Now add Mutton Mince and keep stirring for more 10 minutes on high flame.
3) Now add crushed ginger & garlic and saute for 2 - 3 minutes then add onions and keep stirring for 5 minutes.
4) Now add tomatoes and finely grind garam masala and stir for 5 minutes.
5) Now add Chilli & Coriander powder and mix well and then add whipped yoghurt and saute furher for 10 minutes.
6) Now add 1/2 cup water or as per the gravy you require and cover the pan and let it cook on medium low flame for about 30 minutes or till mutton is tender.
7) Now garnish with finely chopped coriander and serve with hot naan or rice ... I preferred Bombay Pav...
